Mr Lewis, a Chartered Accountant, was previously a Principal at Pitcher Partners, where he worked in financial control, re-capitalisation and restructure of ASX listed companies such as Croesus Mining NL, General Gold Limited and Deep Yellow Limited. 

Prior to Pitcher Partners, John was an Account Director with Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu.

Peter Taylor

Mr Taylor is a proven performer as a Geological and Mining professional. In the last 16 years has been involved in commodities such lead, zinc, gold and nickel. Mr Taylor has worked for companies such as Nicron Resources, Mount Gibson Gold, Cube Consulting (Telfer), Heron Resources, and Inco Exploration. Mr Taylor’s nickel laterite experience include the geological resource development for the Kalgoorlie Nickel Project for three years with Inco Exploration and Heron Resources.

Mick Elias
Canegrass Geological Consultant

Mr Elias has over 30 years of extensive, international experience in all aspects of nickel resource development in both laterites and sulphides, from project generation and evaluation, exploration planning and management, development studies, open cut and underground mine geology, resource/reserve estimation, and resource economics. Mr Elias previously held the positions of Chief Geologist – WA Nickel Operations and Chief Geologist – Nickel Resource Development at WMC Resources Ltd. Mr Elias holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Geology from the University of Melbourne. Mr Elias began his career at WMC as a geologist working in and around the Canegrass Nickel Cobalt Project area (formerly Siberia).

Tim Leonard
Exploration Manager

Mr Leonard is a geologist with over 20 years exploration experience in Australia as well as overseas.  He has worked for companies such as South China Resources, AGR Ltd, Marymia Gold Robe River, CRA Exploration Hamersley and Robe River Mining. His previous role was Chief Geologist providing geological supervision of the Danfeng Cu-Mo Project, Shaanxi Province in China.

Bruce Wedderburn
Nickel Extraction Feasibility Manager

Mr Wedderburn is a Chemical Engineer with over 27 years experience in the resources sector, involved in mainly base metals (nickel, cobalt, copper and uranium) and platinum group metals. This experience has been gained internationally and has included operations management, major projects, business development and technology development. Bruce is currently the principal of Malachite Process Consulting and has mainly been involved with nickel laterite and sulphide projects over the past four years. This has included a range of activities from R&D, engineering studies and due diligence. He is also currently involved in the heap leach test work and trials that Minara Resources Limited are undertaking.
